Blood pressure is the pressure of blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. Arteries carry blood from your heart to other parts of your body.
Blood pressure normally rises and falls throughout the day, but it can damage your heart and cause health problems if it stays high for a long time. Hypertension, also called high blood pressure, is blood pressure that is higher than normal.
AMR Norfolk is inviting you to get involved with our high blood pressure study sponsored by PRM Pharma, LLC. You are being asked to take part in this study because you may have high blood pressure. Although, this study will only use 12.5 mg dosage of chlorthalidone, which is half the strength of the lowest dose currently available in the United States.
